Jeeyar Humanities, Tenali was founded on August 26,2002 with the divine blessings of Sri Sri Tridandi Sreemannarayana Ramanuja China Jeeyar Swami with the principal objective of providing free medical services to the poor and old aged people especially in villages.

The first free medical camp was held at Nadigaddapalem village in Tsundur Mandal on the birthday of Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Sreemannarayana Ramanuja Jyeeyar Swami. The camp was inaugurated by Sri Sri Tridandi Sreemannarayana Ramanuja Jyeeyar Swami. He distributed medicines free to all the patients. For more health camps were organized in the recent months at Chandra Babu Naidu Colony, Burripalem, Nadigaddapalem, Kuchipudi, Moparu, Papuru, Ithanager School, Pedapudi, Modukuru, Govada, Chadalawada. 9250 patients were benifitted through these camps. Free Medicines were distributed to the patients for worth Rs.4,68,450-00.

The mission of this Non-Government Organisation is to serve the Rural and Urban population of Tenali Revenue Division especially the weaker sections of the society living in colonies and slum areas and provide free medical services at their door steps by organisation. The Sub-Collector, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Mandal Revenue officer and Municipal Commissioner Tenali are Honorary Presidents of this Society.

Mr. Vempati Satyanaranya, Mr. Sakhamuru Kishore, Mr. Koratala Gnanendra Prasad, Mr. Gudimella Badarinath, and Mr. Bhagat Singh are office-bearers of the Jeeyar Humanities, Tenali as President, Secetary, Treasurer, Vice-President, and Joint-Secretary respectively.

Eminent Doctors from Tenali Dr. Boppana Lavakusulu (General Medicine), Dr. Kadiyala Venkata Ramana (General Surgery), Dr. M.V. Subba Rao (Eye Specialist), Dr Nandipati Sivaram Prasad (Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist), Dr. Puvvada Visweswara Rao (Dental Surgeon), Dr. Vadlamudi Radhakrishna Murthy (General Surgeon), Dr. Karumanchi Tukaram Prasad, Dr. Kodali Mohan das, Dr. Vemuri Seshagiri Rao (Orthopadecian), Dr. Jasti Venkata Subba Rao (Skin Specialist), Dr. Avula Chakravarthy (Childrens Specialist) and Dr.D. Sarada (Gynaecologist) are esteemed honorary members of the association rendering voluntary free service for the noble cause.

Mrs. Boppana Rajasree, Mrs. Mandalapu Madhu Vani are exective committee members Mr. Nukala Venkata Venu Gopala Rao (Industrialist), Mr. Ravipati Veera Narayana Rao (Director, Viveka Educational Institutions), Mr.Kudaravalli Rammohanarao and Mr.Koratala Eswarachand(Sai Educational Institutions), Mr.Kotta Subrahmanyam(Kumar Pumps), Mr. Sakhamuri Varaprasad, Mr.Koratala Lelasatyasai, Mr.Nannapaneni Satyanarayana, Mr.Garikipati Amar, Mr.Koganti Siva prasad, Mrs.Vempati Parvathi, Mrs.Sakhamuru Ramasamrajyam, Potluri Rammohan, Velakkayala Kishore Babu, Mr.Chadalawada Venkateswarlu, Gundapaneni Krishnaiah, Mr.Dopalapudi Srinivas, Mr.Kavuri Satyanarayana are active members of the Jeeyar Humanities.

Objectives:

  1. Organising free medical camps for the benefit of the poor and old aged people at their door steps in the rural and urban areas of Tenali Revenue Division.
  2. Providing Medicines free of cost to all poor patients and assistance of free surgery to the needy by specialist doctors.
  3. Extending free maternary services to poor women besides Childrens health care.

All the medical campus so far held were with the liberal donations provided by the members both in cash and medicines. To sustain the activity permanently a corpus Fund need to be built up. The management of the trust is also keen to construct Hospital Buildings at Tenali and provide all the requisite infrastructure facilities offering daily free medical services to the poor and needy.

Service activity of this magnitude needs co-operation of one and all in their own humble way.
